WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?

Please arrive at Brighton Bandstand from 12.00pm - the ceremony starts at 12.30pm.

WHERE IS THE RECEPTION?

At Pier Court - once the ceremony is finished, we’ll all head there together.

HOW DO WE GET BETWEEN THE VENUES?

It’s about a 20-minute walk along the seafront. - think of it as a beautiful wedding promenade! We are not providing transport between the Bandstand and Pier Court, but Ubers operate in Brighton and local taxi’s can also be booked.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

See Dress: UP!

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

If a plus one was included on your Save the Date or invitation, yes, otherwise, no. We’ve had to be disciplined with numbers.

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

No. This is an adults-only wedding.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP?

By 31st January 2027. Even if you’ve already told us you’re coming. Even if your mum has told one of our mums. Even if you have booked the hotel.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

Yes, a few discreet photos are absolutely fine. We just don’t want everyone watching the ceremony through their phones.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Ah. Brighton.

Our current emergency wet-weather fantasy involves us getting married in the café under the Bandstand while Doris enjoys a bacon sarnie in the background. The real answer is that we’re still working through the wet-weather programme but we’ll make sure everyone knows what’s happening if the forecast turns against us.

CAN WE THROW CONFETTI?

Not at the Bandstand so please don’t bring your own. We quite like Brighton and would prefer not to be banned from it!

CAN I SMOKE OR VAPE?

At Pier Court, smoking and vaping are only allowed on the terrace. Smoking or vaping are not permitted on the Bandstand.

CAN I REQUEST A SONG?

No. Soz.

IS THERE AN AFTERPARTY?

The reception is the afterparty. Thank yew!

IS ANYTHING HAPPENING THE NEXT DAY?

Possibly. We’ll let you know when we’ve decided whether we’re charmingly extending the weekend or have finally reached the limits of our organisational abilities.
